Access for people with disabilities

The role of our Access Officer is to arrange for help for people with disabilities so that they can access the services provided by the Data Protection Commission. If you wish to make a complaint in relation to access to the services of the Data Protection Commission and the Office's compliance with the terms of the Disability Act 2005, you should forward the complaint to:

You can also contact the Access Officer as outlined above for assistance in making your complaint. On receipt of your complaint the Commission will refer the complaint for independent investigation by an Inquiry Officer. The Inquiry Officer will examine the matter and prepare a written report. A copy of this report will be given to you and to the Commission. The report will set out the findings and any recommendations
