  Senior Regulatory Lawyer

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Data Protection Commission’s (DPC) team. The Senior Regulatory Lawyer will perform a significant, senior role in the DPC’s investigatory activities dealing with novel and ground breaking legal and regulatory issues in a fast moving and high profile environment, as the DPC cements its role as one of the key data protection regulators in Europe.

Successful candidate(s) will be admitted and enrolled as a Solicitor or Barrister in the State and will have extensive experience of regulatory investigations and/or equivalent enforcement activity. In addition, s/he will have demonstrable sophisticated legal analytical and legal writing skills with experience of report writing.

  Data Protection Team Lead

The post of Data Protection Team Lead is a senior managerial grade within the DPC reporting to a Deputy Commissioner. These posts play a key role in ensuring that the DPC effectively carries out its statutory functions under national and EU law to protect the data privacy of individuals.

Successful candidate(s) will have a background in at least one of the following: data protection, a regulatory environment, conducting investigations or inquiries or compliance audits, or have experience in another relevant area, as well as significant management experience including leading teams and managing resources.
