REGISTRATION WTH THE DATA PROTECTION COMMISSIONER

Under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 certain categories of data controllers and data processors must register details with the Data Protection Commissioner.  Registration must be renewed on an Annual basis.

Guidance Notes:  Who must register, how to register and fees payable.  Please read before completing a registration application.

Online Registration: Apply for registration online as a new Data Controller or new Data Processor, or continue and/or amend your existing registration.  You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or Laser.  Online fees are less than by post.

Manual Registration Forms:  Apply for registration manually by downloading either a Data Controller or Data Processor Application Form.  You can then send in your application by post together with a cheque or postal order.
